Lauren Carter, FNP-C, was born and raised in the Detroit area, where she developed authoritative standards on the love of snow and driving in said snow.
After completing her undergraduate degree from Cedarville Universtiy, Lauren worked as an RN in the operating room on the south side of Indianapolis for five years. In 2012, after receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University, Lauren worked in the emergency department as an NP before transitioning to retail health care in 2014. She is now thoroughly enjoying working within the structure-function health care model that is the Prather Practice.
In addition to spending time with her husband, Braden, and son, Beck, Lauren is passionate about pursuing holistic health with essential oils, healthy eating, running and cycling with the same dynamism that she drives her Jeep, and developing her skills as an amateur photographer.
